Studio Radical Softness
At The Ode To we are always curious to learn more about creativity and artistry, so we asked Niklas Jeroch of Studio Radical Softness to tell us a little bit about his life, his art and his sources of inspiration.
What do you call your series of artworks?
– I call my series of artworks 'Organic Angel Vases'. I am creating future artifacts that represent the morphing of digitalization and organic matter in a forgotten future.
What technique have you used?
– 3D-printing.
What inspired you to create the artworks you have made for The Ode To?
– Interior design and the possibility of functional objects.
What other artists do you admire?
– I admire the German artist Ulrike Buhl, for her inspiring chrome sculptures.
Can you tell us about your background and how you came to be an artist?
– I have a degree in Art History and I have been working creatively for as long as I can remember. I have been a freelance artist and designer since 2020. It just happened and it feels so right. And it is like the only thing I want to do in life.
How would you describe your art and aesthetics in three words?
– Futuristic, minimal and colorful.
What we love about Niklas Jeroch:
We love Niklas Jerochs dream-like and futuristic vases that resemble a kaleidoscope, both in color and execution.
