Sandström Maria

Maria Sandström's art explores the deeply human elements that often go unnoticed. She uses humor and absurdity to scratch the surface of the simple and banal, revealing a deeper, almost transcendent truth beneath. Her playful depictions of apes and other human-like expressions reflect on life's inherent absurdity, showing how, despite our constant attempts to understand the world, we remain as perplexed as ever.  Maria has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the UCA University, UK and has received awards from The Royal Society of Arts and the Notting Hill Art Club. Her work has been featured on Kulturnyheterna and her paintings have been sold in the UK, Australia, Los Angeles, Spain, and France.
